Primary Teacher in Year 6 - Long Term
April (after Easter) - July at least in the first instance. 1300- 200 per day. Wigan
RoleWe are seeking a skilled and confident UKS2 Teacher to join a wonderful mainstream primary school from April through to the end of the summer term.
This is a full-time role in Year 6, working within a highly supportive UKS2 team. You will be well supported by an experienced partner teacher, with shared planning and collaboration throughout the term. The school is well regarded for its calm, positive learning environment and excellent standards of behaviour.
Responsibilities- Hold QTS and have recent experience teaching Year 6 or Upper KS2 in a UK primary school
- Be confident delivering the Year 6 curriculum and supporting pupils in the lead-up to end-of-year assessments
- Have a calm, nurturing, and consistent approach to behaviour management
- Work well as part of a team and contribute positively to shared planning
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with recent Year 6 or Upper KS2 teaching experience in a UK primary school
