Job Title: SEMH & SEND Classroom Teacher

Area: Bury, Greater Manchester

Start Date: Monday 23rd February 2026 or ASAP

Contract Type: Full-time

Salary: 900 - 1,250 per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND
• Create a supportive and structured learning environment to promote emotional regulation and resilience
• Develop and implement individualised learning plans and behaviour strategies
• Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic care and progress
• Track pupil progress, contribute to reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching SEND or in specialist settings
• Strong understanding of SEND, and positive behaviour strategies
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and pastoral care
• Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their full potential

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
• Be able to provide two professional child-related references
