Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic A level Sociology Lecturer for a Further Education College in Lancashire

This is a full time temporary role to start asap until the end of March initially but potentially longer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Year 1 and 2 A-Level Sociology programmes, supporting learners to achieve their academic and career goals.

The successful candidate will:
- Deliver Year 1 and 2 A-Level Sociology
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Prepare learners for coursework, assignments, and external assessments
- Maintain accurate records in line with college policies
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)
- Relevant Sociology qualification (Level 3 minimum Degree preferred)
- Experience teaching in a Further Education setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Sociology curriculum
