Engineering Vocational Assessor – Lancashire
Salary: £31,500 to £33,500 p/a
• Full-time, permanent

We are working with an education provider in the Lancashire area who are looking for an Engineering Vocational Assessor to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. The successful candidate would be based out of their main centre in Lancashire and would be tasked with vocationally assessing Engineering apprentices on their industrial skills. They are ideally wanting a multi-skilled engineer to cover both Mechanical and Electrical apprentices, but might be able to consider someone who is single-skilled.

• Assess Engineering apprentices on their industrial skills.
• Travel to workplaces to conduct assessments in areas such as Preston, Leyland, Blackburn and Burnley; the caseload will be tailored to be as close to the candidate’s home address as possible.

• Engineering qualification.
• Over 5 years of post-apprenticeship industry experience.
• An assessor award OR a willingness to achieve one.
