Teaching Assistant

Pay Rates: GBP
14.25 TO GBP
16.65 per hour
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver lessons and activities and promote inclusion for all pupils
- Deliver group activities and interventions as directed by the class teacher
- Communicate effectively, professionally and in a friendly manner with staff, pupils, and parents
- Support the management of pupil behaviour and provide additional support for children as required
- Monitor and track progress of pupils ensuring strong communication with the class teacher
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- A passion for supporting childrens education, a proactive approach, and a willingness to adapt to different school environments.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) or Umbrella.
- Full compliance with AWR (Agency Workers Regulations), to make sure you get the pay and working conditions you are entitled to.
