The role supports the School of Engineering Laboratory Superintendent and Area Safety Officer, deputising in their absence and providing day‑to‑day line management of technical staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Frequent liaison with teaching and research staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Undertaking confidential work as required.
- Contributing to a specialist area within the School that aligns with your knowledge and experience.
You should have a strong commitment to supporting the teaching and research activities of the School and the on‑campus staff and student experience at Lancaster, and a willingness to engage in continuing professional development and outreach activity.
