Primary Teachers with SEN / SEMH Experience

Location: Greater Manchester

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: ASAP

Schools are looking for enthusiastic Primary Teachers with SEN / SEMH experience to support pupils with additional needs across the primary phase. This role would suit a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons while also creating a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

You will play a key role in helping children make progress academically, socially, and emotionally, while adapting your teaching to meet a range of learning and behavioural needs.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in primary settings.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN or SEMH needs.
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills.
  • Enhanced DBS and references.
Key responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging primary lessons.
  • Adapt teaching to support individual pupil needs.
  • Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs effectively.
  • Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
  • Work closely with support staff and wider school teams.
