We are looking for a Teacher in Physics 0.2 FTE to join us at Tameside College, starting 17th August 2026. This is a fixed term contract until January 2027.

Responsibilities- Plan, deliver and develop teaching and learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles.
- Take responsibility for the quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meets learner needs.
- Assess learner progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
- Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated.
- Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2.
- Degree in a relevant subject area (2:1 or above desirable).
- PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Higher degree or recognised professional qualification.
- Meet LLUK standards for teaching and supporting learning.
- Evidence of current continuous professional development.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
