We are looking to appoint an experienced Specialist Support Assistant to work with pupils with special educational needs in EYFS/KS1 or KS2.
ResponsibilitiesProvide support through a bespoke curriculum alongside an EHCP, and may also be required to support generally in class as well as working with selected individuals and groups of pupils. The successful candidate will have a passionate commitment to ensuring that every child makes academic progress, will be highly effective, flexible, positive and a reliable team player.
QualificationsProven skills in Literacy and Numeracy with a minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English. Background of working with children aged 4‑11 and children with additional needs.
Other DetailsThis post is temporary to 31st August 2027. The position will commence as soon as possible, to be mutually agreed with the successful candidate.
Pre‑employment ChecksSatisfactory two‑year reference history, DBS check, medical clearance, proof of essential qualifications and proof of legal working status in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
