Job Summary

The Faculty of Science and Technology at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a full‑time Student Programmes Coordinator, on a fixed‑term basis until July 2027. The Student Programmes Team, led by the Student Programmes Officer, provides support to staff and students across all Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes within each of the faculty’s academic departments. This role will work within the Lancaster Environment Centre and School of Engineering teams and will also be expected to work flexibly across the faculty’s Education Service, supporting the delivery and administration of student programmes and the student experience.

Responsibilities

Additionally, the role holder will:

  • Support staff and students across Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes, including delivery and administration of student programmes.
  • Work flexibly across the faculty’s Education Service to enhance the student experience.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and teams to deliver high‑quality student support services.
Qualifications
  • Experience of providing a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines and work effectively within a team and across teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present information accurately to a wide range of people.
  • Competent IT skills and adaptability to new systems and software in an evolving digital environment.
