Overview
Teacher of Art & Design – Blackpool, Lancashire. Vision for Education is assisting a welcoming secondary school in Blackpool to recruit a passionate Teacher of Art & Design. This is a part-time role starting September 2026, with a long-term temporary arrangement through January 2027 (Monday to Wednesday).
The school is a well-regarded secondary setting in Blackpool, Lancashire and was graded Good at its most recent Ofsted inspection, reflecting its commitment to high standards, strong leadership and positive outcomes for pupils.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire creativity and encourage students to achieve their full potential
- Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and wider school staff
- Contribute to the continued success of the Art department
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Art & Design in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Ability to provide relevant references and undertake an enhanced DBS check
- Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system (daily rate subject to scale, experience and qualifications; details discussed at registration)
