Vision for Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Blackpool, Lancashire to recruit a dedicated Teacher of Maths. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and make a real impact on students' progress and achievement. The role is for a fixed-term basis for the full academic year, starting in September 2026.
The school has a positive reputation within the local area and was judged Good at its most recent graded Ofsted inspection, with strengths identified in teaching, behaviour and the support provided to students.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Teacher of Maths in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and success in mathematics.
- Contribute to a supportive and positive learning environment and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire learners of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system (subject to your scale rate, experience and qualifications discussed at registration).
