Alternative Provision Teacher

Qualified Teacher – Alternative Provision – Behaviour/SEMH Needs

This role is a long‑term position (possibly temp to perm after 12 weeks) based in Manchester. You will work closely with parents, teachers and senior leaders to support students with behaviour and SEMH needs.

• Work Monday‑Friday during school hours; early finish on Fridays
• Build excellent relationships with students, parents, teachers and senior leaders
• Act as a vital role model with patience, empathy and resilience
• Track and monitor data such as attendance, progress and more
• Provide support within the school's Alternative Provision, following a firm but fair approach with pupils
• Receive excellent support from the school and Aspire People

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ideally required; if not, the school will support you through training
• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs and barriers to learning
• Firm but fair approach with pupils and ability to build strong relationships
• DBS check required; safeguarding training provided

• Long‑term position with a view to permanent employment
• Work term‑time only
• Placements are subject to appropriate child‑protection screening, including checks with former employers and Disclosure and Barring Checks
