Job Title: SEND Teacher
Area: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Start Date: Tuesday 1st September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 750 - 1,250 per week
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term time

About the Role:

As a SEND Teacher at this exceptional school, you'll plan and deliver a rich, differentiated curriculum that meets the individual needs of students with a wide range of complex needs - from ASD and SEMH to PMLD and SLD. You'll work across an active, immersive learning environment that challenges students in the right way, at the right pace, with the right support.

This is teaching at its most meaningful - where every lesson you deliver has a real and lasting impact.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a SEND, specialist, or alternative provision setting
  • A genuine passion for working with young people with complex and diverse needs
  • Resilient, creative, and committed to continuous improvement in your practice
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs
  • Experience working with ASD, SEMH, PMLD, SLD, or MLD is highly desirable
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment

To Be Eligible You Must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Provide two professional references from child-related roles
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
