Graduate Behaviour Mentor – September Start
We are looking for a confident, empathetic graduate who is considering a career in education and has the patience and resilience to support students with their behaviour, ensuring they are receiving the best possible education. This role is ideal for a resilient, dedicated and passionate individual who wants to remove barriers to learning for students with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Responsibilities- Support students in KS3–KS4 to regulate their emotions
- Use on‑site physical activities such as gym sessions to support behaviour
- Work in Manchester mainstream secondary schools
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and in small groups
- Work with pupils who have additional needs such as Autism and SEMH
- Work Monday–Friday during school hours, term time only
- Obtain DBS checks and receive safeguarding and other training
- Experience or knowledge supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH needs
- Very patient and empathetic
- Confident and enthusiastic, with a love of learning
