Level Teaching Assistant - Year 6

Position Overview

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Year 6 class at an Outstanding primary school in Manchester. The role runs from September 2026 with a long‑term contract and potential for permanent placement after 12 weeks.

• Support the Year 6 class teacher with daily activities and learning experiences.
• Assist in delivering the curriculum and ensure students receive high quality support.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a positive classroom environment.
• Support assessment processes and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver PPA when required.

• Degree, QTS or HLTA level qualification required.
• Passion for education and ability to use initiative.

• Paid £100‑£130 per day, inclusive of holiday pay.
• Long‑term contract with a view to becoming permanent.
• Manchester based, excellent links to public transport.
• Strong leadership team and supportive environment.
