Sports coach Teaching Assistant

The Role

Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff, you’ll support pupils who may have social, emotional and mental health needs, display challenging behaviours, be disengaged from learning, need help regulating emotions, and lack confidence or positive role models. You’ll help children feel safe, engaged and ready to learn by building positive relationships, encouraging resilience and celebrating success inside and outside the classroom.

• Support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Address behaviours that challenge.
• Help disengaged learners re‐engage with learning.
• Assist pupils in regulating their emotions.
• Build confidence and provide positive role modelling.
