Vision for Education is recruiting a talented Teacher of Drama in Blackpool, Lancashire to join a welcoming secondary school on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This Teacher of Drama role in Blackpool, Lancashire is due to start in September and is expected to continue on a long-term temporary basis with no set end date.

The school is a larger-than-average secondary academy serving the local community and is committed to improving outcomes for all learners. At its most recent Ofsted inspection in March 2024, the school was judged as Requires Improvement, with Personal Development recognised as Good.

As a Teacher of Drama in Blackpool, Lancashire
, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage creativity, confidence and self-expression across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Ability to plan, prepare and assess students' work effectively
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
