The RoleBlackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a dedicated and proactive EHCP Support Adviser to join the Student Support and Wellbeing (SSWI) team. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring their needs are met and they successfully work towards their outcomes.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:- Coordinating EHCP reviews, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Liaising with students, parents, carers, and external agencies (e.g., schools, social workers, health professionals) to facilitate smooth transitions and support needs.
- Supporting curriculum teams in preparing and implementing EHCPs.
- Providing guidance on EHCP processes and additional learning support.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of EHCP-related tasks.
- Contributing to inclusion initiatives and participating in recruitment events to promote support for SEND learners.
