EYFS Teaching Assistant
Blackpool | Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Blackpool from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across both Nursery and Reception, supporting children during the crucial early stages of their education. The school is seeking a nurturing and proactive individual who is passionate about helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Role- Support teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception classes.
- Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions.
- Assist in creating an engaging, stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
- Help prepare learning resources and classroom activities.
- Monitor and record pupil progress where required.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant childcare, education or Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
