We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential assistance and mentorship to children and adults, helping them develop their skills and confidence in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities
  • Offer personalised support and guidance to children, fostering their social, emotional, and educational development
  • Assist with daily activities, including organising educational and recreational programmes
  • Mentor children through various tasks, encouraging independence and confidence
  • Support behavioural management strategies in line with organisational policies
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the wellbeing of each child
  • Implement tailored teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and activities undertaken with each child
  • Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
Experience

Minimum 6 months experience required

  • Proven ability to teach or facilitate learning activities effectively
  • Experience in supporting children with diverse needs is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships
  • Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting young people’s development
