The OpportunityWe are looking to appoint an interim Head of the School of Global Affairs until 31st July 2027. The Head of School plays a key role in developing strategy, shaping interdisciplinary spaces, and co-creating the School’s values and tone within a Faculty that champions equality, diversity, and inclusion. With clear and collaborative leadership, you will promote research excellence and public engagement on regional, national, and international stages and contribute to the development of a sustainable and vibrant future for the School.
AboutYou
Candidates will have strong experience of collaborative academic leadership, an international research profile and outlook, routine engagement with external audiences, and a broad knowledge of the higher education landscape. As an active member of the Faculty Leadership Group, you will advise and support the Faculty PVC to develop a sustainable and robust Faculty structure, improving management and governance and contributing to the ongoing development of an inspiring and creative working environment for staff and high-quality learning experiences for our students.
