Early Years Teaching Assistant - Reception & Nursery Support
Manchester & Surrounding Areas Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Aspire People
The Role May Include:- Supporting children through play-based learning activities
- Assisting with early phonics, communication, and numeracy development
- Supporting pupils with routines, transitions, and personal development
- Helping children develop social and emotional skills
- Supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
- Observing and feeding back on pupil progress
- Experience working in an Early Years, Nursery, or Reception setting
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is desirable
- A good understanding of early childhood development
- A patient, creative, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Confident supporting young children with different needs
- A genuine passion for helping children learn through play
- Full-time, part-time, daily supply, and long-term opportunities
