We are looking to recruit a temporary, full-time Learning and Training Adviser to work as part of the New Directions Careers Service, covering a maternity absence for 12 months.
New Directions provide impartial careers information, advice and guidance to young people aged 14-19 (up to 25 if they have learning difficulties, disabilities or are care leavers) to assist and support them to remain in or return to education, training or employment, and to achieve their full potential.
Your caseload will include working with some of our most vulnerable young people, including those who have an Education, Health and Care Plan and potentially those who have care experience.
Depending on your IAG qualifications, work may also include a focus on pre-16 children, as part of our traded service to schools and early intervention work which is a key factor in raising participation.
Interviews will have taken place by the week ending Friday 16th October
