Learning Support Assistant; LSA)

The Role

We’re seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support to students across classroom and independent learning environments. You’ll play a key role in helping learners overcome barriers, develop confidence, and achieve their goals. Working closely with curriculum teams and support services, you’ll contribute to an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes engagement, independence, and progression into further education, employment, or independent living.

• Provide personalised support to students with additional needs, including those with EHCPs, helping them access learning, stay on task, and achieve their aspirations.
• Monitor and track student progress, maintain accurate records, and support compliance with funding and reporting requirements.
• Implement reasonable adjustments and enabling strategies across a range of settings, including classrooms, workshops, exams, and unstructured times.
• Support the development of students’ academic, digital, social, and employability skills, promoting independence, resilience, and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and external services to deliver cohesive support strategies and a positive, inclusive student experience.

This is a fixed-term, term-time only role, working 35 weeks per year (dependent on start date)
