About the Role

As Student Recruitment and Promotions Officer, you will play an important role in supporting BIMM University's student recruitment and conversion objectives. Working closely with the Head of School and the wider Student Recruitment and Promotions team, you will help deliver outreach activity, recruitment events and promotional campaigns that engage prospective students and support them throughout their decision-making journey.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with teachers, careers advisers and other stakeholders to support student engagement and recruitment.
  • Represent BIMM University at careers fairs, exhibitions, workshops, talks and other recruitment events.
  • Provide accurate information, advice and guidance to prospective students and their supporters.
  • Coordinate a range of recruitment and conversion events, including Open Days, applicant events, experience days and virtual activities.
  • Support the recruitment and management of Student Ambassadors involved in events and promotional activity.
  • Welcome prospective students and visitors through campus tours and other on-campus experiences.
  • Contribute to recruitment and promotional campaigns across digital channels, including social media.
  • Produce and coordinate content such as student stories, event promotion, campus news and other local marketing activity.
  • Work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues to support recruitment, marketing and conversion initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activity, event attendance, enquiries and prospective student engagement.
  • Evaluate outreach, recruitment and promotional activity, producing reports on outcomes, lead generation and event performance.
  • Assist with the administration and scheduling of auditions and interviews, working closely with academic teams and Admissions colleagues.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in student recruitment, outreach, events, marketing, admissions or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience presenting information to groups and acting as a professional representative of an organisation.
  • Confidence working independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
  • Good administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and other digital systems.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A flexible approach, including a willingness to support occasional evening and weekend events.

This is a part-time position working 18.75 hours per week. As this role supports our events and outreach programme, evening and weekend working may be required.
