Senior Project Engineer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:

We are looking for Senior Project Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Blackburn.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)

Salary is 40,000 to 50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are looking for people with a strong Mechanical / Electrical background and there would be a mixture of internal and external training.

External examples of training would be CAD training and CNC programming and Operation as required.

Responsibilities:

• Production of technical and QA documentation to underpin the equipment manufactured.
• Produce innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Have due regard to legislation, British Standards
• Liaise with the client on designs.
• Carry out stress analysis, including hand calculations.
• Fully cost designs and produce a bill of materials.
• Offer project support in terms of collating and presenting documentation.
• Troubleshoot production problems.
• Produce system layouts and module assemblies.
• Work alongside the production team to ensure a successful delivery.

This will be mostly working on site.

Flexibility in regards to start and finish times could be considered for the successful candidate.
