Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a busy construction project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all setting out and engineering works are carried out accurately and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and checking M&E grid lines across the project
Overseeing and verifying steelwork installation to ensure accuracy and compliance with drawings
Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality and safety standards
Carrying out site surveys, measurements, and quality checks
Coordinating with subcontractors, site management, and design teams
Identifying and resolving any engineering or technical issues on site
Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to senior management
Ensuring all work is delivered in line with project deadlines and specifications

Key

Skills:

Strong understanding of setting out and site engineering principles
Experience working with M&E grid lines and structural steelwork
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and engineering software

Qualifications &

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects
Relevant engineering or construction qualification
CSCS card required
SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial

Experience with in commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction projects preferred
