Mechanical Engineering Trainer/Assessor (Maintenance)

We are working with an education provider in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Trainer/Assessor to join their engineering training team on a full‑time, permanent basis.
The job role involves delivering workshop‑based practical teaching and assessments on maintenance‑biased Mechanical Engineering courses (up to level
3) at their main site in Rochdale. Teaching topics include maintenance of pumps and valves, fault diagnosis, and hand fitting.
The starting salary is up to £35,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) and includes a contributory pension (5% employee/4% employer) and 33 days holiday per year (inclusive of statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).
To be eligible for the position you MUST have:
- A Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or higher)
- Industrial experience of Mechanical Maintenance
- A desire to pass on your engineering knowledge
If you do not already have a teaching qualification, the education provider will provide and pay for training.
