Project Control Lead

The rate per hour: £41.06 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella

The role:

* Responsible for the overall project control delivery on behalf of nominated control account

* Ensure Project Control System elements are delivered on time to the correct standards as documented in the process standards

* Provide informed advice on and manage the creation and operation of all project control mechanisms and processes such as Work Breakdown Structure, Organisational Breakdown Structure, Resource Breakdown Structure, control account structures, reporting hierarchies, levels of planning and planning horizons etc.

* Schedule
o Task generation
o Resource loading schedules
o Cost loading schedules
o Management of schedule templates (national and internation schedules)
o Schedule status
o Earned Value Management - claim criteria
o Work Breakdown Structure Dictionary Statements
o Budgeted Cost of Work Performed into schedule

* Cost
o Cost accounting
o Budget vs Actuals
o Latest Revised Estimates / Estimates to complete
o Cashflow forecasting (in line with supply chain direction)
o Input to Joint Cost Model

* Resource
o Schedule extract and resource levelling to support resource reviews
o Demand load against configured schedule position

* Change Control
o Enact contract change against configured toolset

* Risk and Opportunity Management
o 3 point schedule and cost impacts
o Risk tagging into schedules
o Integration (National)
o Integration of all Control Account Manager data to provide consistent output to service local reviews

* Reporting
o Generation of Control Account Manager Packs
o Variance Analysis
o Produce Schedule Output Report
o Schedule Analysis
o Milestone / KPI Reporting
o Control Account support

The Role Holder:

* Experienced project controller with approximately 5 years of experience in the field

* Resilience - high demand role, individual needs to be able to adapt

* Cost Management / Cashflow forecasting, variance analysis and integrated reporting

* Ability to pass knowledge on to other members of team
Desirable:

* Previous experience within Aerospace/Defence

* Familiarity with Air Sector Tools (PM Compass, Cobra, Predict
