A great stand-out in this role is the variety of work on offer. The position is predominantly workshop-based, preparing and commissioning brand-new machinery, with occasional site work providing a great balance between workshop stability and field-based engineering.
Salary & Benefits
£19.50 per hour
Approx. £44,850 annual earnings (including contracted overtime)
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
40 hours basic plus 2.5 hours paid at time and a half each week
Company van provided for work purposes
21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
Ongoing manufacturer training

The Role
Carry out PDI inspections and preparation of new construction machinery.
Service, maintain and repair a range of construction and heavy plant equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
Attend customer sites when required for servicing and breakdown support.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards.
Requirements
Experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, construction or agricultural machinery.
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience carrying out PDI inspections would be advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK Driving Licence.
