The Role- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns across production and packaging machinery
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and/or mechanical faults quickly and safely
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and machinery upgrades
- Accurately record maintenance activities and compliance checks
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, ONC, HNC, or equivalent)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (food or FMCG experience advantageous, but not essential)
- A multi-skilled background or a clear electrical or mechanical bias
- Strong fault-finding ability and a proactive, hands-on approach
- The confidence to work independently as well as part of a team
