Payroll Officer

Role Profile

Do you want to work as a Payroll Officer for a global manufacturing business based in Blackburn, that offers you a great career, excellent staff benefits and a competitive salary up to £35,000?

• Office based Monday to Friday - 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Company bonus scheme
• Company Pension / Healthcare
• Free Parking

• Assisting with all aspects of the internal payroll for approximately 200 staff
• Process fortnightly and monthly payrolls
• Will answer staff payroll queries with confidence
• Collate timesheet and attendance records
• Calculate overtime and bonus payments
• Calculate and process holidays and absence payments
• Processing statutory payments
• Manual calculations
• Completing month end and year end reports
• Making tax code changes and timely Tax & NI payments
• Input new starters and leavers onto the in-house system

• A minimum of two years experience in payroll
• Basic accounts administration knowledge
• Be able to work on own initiative to deadlines
• Computer systems:
  Must be proficient in Excel
• User of SAP or similar related software
