Management Accountant

Management Accountant £45K + study Rochdale Onsite Some Hybrid

We are working with a highly successful and growing manufacturing business currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. As the Management Accountant, you will support the finance function across month-end reporting, forecasting, KPI analysis and business partnering. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and provide key financial insight to support decision-making and continued growth.

• Assist with month-end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and query resolution
• Review actual vs budget performance with budget holders
• Produce board reporting and contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Maintain weekly cashflow forecasting and KPI reporting
• Support payroll data entry and finance facility reconciliations
• Support Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and the wider finance team with day-to-day activities
• Support VAT and HMRC reporting requirements
• Assist with external audit processes
• Get involved in ad hoc project work and process improvement initiatives

We are looking for someone who can bring strong technical ability alongside a proactive and collaborative approach. You will ideally have:

• ACCA / CIMA / ACA part-qualified status, working towards full qualification
• Experience in a busy finance environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Confidence suggesting improvements to finance processes and reporting
