Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting for an ambitious Assistant Finance Manager to join the high-calibre team of arapidly-growing and award-winning organisation in Chorley.
Responsibilities- Oversee the Group finance function and support accurate financial records and compliance with financial regulations.
- Produce monthly management accounts and variance analysis with accompanying commentary.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Prepare monthly finance and board packs to support business planning and review.
- Cashflow management.
- Ensure that payroll is promptly prepared, approved and processed.
- Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring accurate reconciliations and audit requirements are met.
- Continuously document and streamline finance processes, improve reporting efficiency and support the development of finance systems and performance.
- Act as a key point of contact for Directors, Managers and external stakeholders, providing support and financial insight to assist in decision-making.
- Track and report Financial and Operational KPIs to measure business performance.
- Ensure that all supplier or intercompany purchase or recharge invoices are reviewed, approved and processed in a timely fashion.
- Produce and issue sales invoices to external entities and Group companies.
- Proactively chase all clients with outstanding sales invoices to ensure prompt receipt of payment confirmations, remittances and funds.
- Ad-hoc projects and tasks set by line manager.
- At least two years' experience in a similar role.
- AAT Qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified.
- Strong Excel and IT skills.

- Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively.
