CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

Salary: £180,000 – £210,000 (plus potential completion bonus)

Contract:

Initial 9‑month contract to support a transaction.

Marks Sattin are recruiting a CFO to support a profitable energy business in Lancashire on a 9‑month contract to facilitate a transaction.

The successful candidate must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and have experience guiding a business through a successful transaction. They should possess strong commercial accounting skills, exposure to multi‑entity organisations, experience in the energy or regulated sector, and strong staff management skills to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

• Assist the leadership team through a successful transaction
• Lead on commercial and financial due diligence
• Engage and build relationships with investors/buyers
• Manage the data room and key reporting
• Oversee banking and working‑capital management
• Build key relationships with stakeholders and advisors
• Handle key financial issues
• Manage a finance team of circa 14

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Experience guiding a business through a successful transaction
• Strong commercial accounting skills
• Experience with in energy or regulated environments (preferred)
• Strong staff‑management skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Competitive salary of £180,000 – £210,000 with a potential completion bonus.
