Assistant Accountant

Based in Central Lancashire, this highly acquisitional IT‑based organisation is seeking a talented finance professional to join an expanding group in a newly established role. This hybrid position leads on the daily processing of financial activity and adds value at month‑end across the wider group.

• Take the lead on ledger management across all areas of the business.
• Support local and regional finance teams during month, quarter and year‑end close processes.
• Handle bank reconciliations for multiple entities in the portfolio.
• Allocate accruals and pre‑payments.
• Assist with payments to suppliers and manage credit facilities.
• Conduct ad‑hoc project work as required.

• Experienced finance professional with proven day‑to‑day financial activity management.
• High integrity, energy, and self‑motivation to succeed.
• Ability to work confidently from home with strong organisational and communication skills.
