Finance Assistant
- Location:
Wigan - Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays

- Ongoing support for professional development and training
- Support the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately.
- Assist with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end activities.
- Process financial transactions and maintain data within the company's accounting systems.
- Prepare information and analysis for internal stakeholders to support business decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve finance-related queries and improve processes.
- Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar accounting position.
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting month-end processes.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
