A growing, multi-site Private Equity-backed organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to provide senior finance leadership through to January initially, with potential to extend
.
This is a hands-on assignment requiring someone who can get up to speed quickly, take ownership of the finance function and provide stability and leadership from day one
.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll oversee financial reporting and controls while providing the commercial insight needed to support operational performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Own the month-end process and consolidated management accounts across multiple entities
- Lead day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, reconciliations and cash management
- Manage cashflow forecasting, working capital, supplier payments and debtor management
- Provide clear analysis of P&L performance, profitability and cashflow trends
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and existing finance processes
- Support statutory audit and year-end requirements
- Partner with operational leaders to improve financial performance and discipline
- Provide leadership and direction to the existing finance team
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Experienced Financial Controller with a strong management accounting background
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Commercially minded and confident partnering with senior and operational stakeholders
- Strong on cashflow, controls and financial reporting
- An experienced team leader who can quickly build credibility
- Available at short notice / immediately
