Job Description:
We are seeking both experienced and newly graduated Band 5/6 Locum Podiatrists to join our team in West Lancashire. This role is available to start as soon as possible and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. This position provides an excellent opportunity for podiatrists at various stages of their careers to gain valuable experience and contribute to delivering high-quality care within the community.

What your responsibilities will be for this Podiatry role?

As a Band 5/6 Locum Podiatrist, you will provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients with both high-risk and routine conditions. Your role will include performing assessments, diagnosing podiatric issues, and developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. For high-risk cases, you will manage complex podiatric conditions, while routine cases will involve general podiatric care. Effective communication with patients, as well as collaboration with other healthcare professionals, is crucial to ensuring integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.

You will also maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development and improvement.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience or willingness to gain experience in managing high-risk and routine podiatric cases
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to adapt to different patient needs and caseloads
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive support as needed
