Nurse/AHP Consultant to lead and innovate within our Stroke Services. This is your chance to shape clinical practice, influence strategy, and drive research that transforms patient outcomes.

Clinical Leadership & Expertise

Deliver advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for stroke patients, including non-medical prescribing. Act as an expert in stroke medicine and advanced practice, providing specialist advice for acutely unwell patients.

Service Development & Management

Lead efficient stroke care pathways with multidisciplinary teams. Develop policies, guidelines, and patient pathways where none exist. Monitor and evaluate services through audits, research, and performance indicators.

Education & Training

Design and deliver specialist training for all staff groups and medical students. Support clinical placements with higher education institutions and promote a learning culture for professional development.

Research & Evidence-Based Practice

Initiate and contribute to stroke research projects. Implement evidence-based practice and drive innovation to enhance academic status and research capability within the Trust.

Collaboration & Communication

Build strong partnerships with senior clinicians, allied health professionals, networks, and external stakeholders. Communicate complex, sensitive information effectively to patients, carers, and staff.

Governance & Quality

Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and quality standards. Participate in incident and complaint investigations, ensuring timely resolution. Uphold Trust values and maintain high professional standards.

Clinical Expertise
