Nurse Seekers are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, high-quality residential care home seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated Day Team.

About YouThe ideal candidate will be a caring and confident individual with previous senior care experience and a genuine passion for supporting older people.
You will have:
- A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Health & Social Care.
- Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a residential or nursing care setting.
- Experience administering medication and leading shifts.
- A thorough understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to support, mentor and motivate other members of the care team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly with care planning and record keeping.
- A compassionate, reliable and professional approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding care.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive the highest standards of care whilst providing guidance and support to the wider care team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the care team throughout your shift.
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Administering medication in line with company policies.
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding appropriately to changing needs.
Updating care records and communicating effectively with colleagues, healthcare professionals and families. - Promoting dignity, independence and choice for every resident.
- Competitive salary of around £14.50 per hour, depending on experience.
- Permanent Day shifts:
- 8:00am – 3:00pm
- 3:00pm – 10:00pm
