Care Assistant
Location:
Banbridge, County Down Pay: £13.00 per hour Ready for a new opportunity in care with a team that values what you do? Were currently recruiting a Care Assistant for an established nursing care facility in Banbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering compassionate care and wants to join a team that supports learning, development and long-term career progression.
About the role Youll play an important part in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care throughout the night. Working alongside an experienced team, youll help create a calm, safe and comfortable environment where residents feel respected and supported. Your duties will include:
Assisting residents with personal care and individual needs. Supporting bedtime routines and overnight comfort. Promoting dignity, choice and independence. Monitoring residents wellbeing and reporting any concerns. Following care plans, policies and procedures. Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues. About you Were looking for someone who is:
Compassionate, reliable and approachable. Respectful of residents individual needs and preferences. A good communicator who works well as part of a team. Interested in developing their skills within a nursing care setting. Experienced in care, ideally within a care home environment, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are important. Registered with NISCC or willing to complete registration within the required timeframe.
