Cloud Support Engineer

Are you at your best when troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and making things more reliable the next time around?

This role sits within a cloud and technical services team supporting a mix of private data centre infrastructure and public cloud platforms. It’s a hands-on position where operational stability, automation and continuous improvement all matter.

• Supporting cloud and on-prem infrastructure across private data centres plus AWS and Azure
• Monitoring platforms, responding to incidents and meeting uptime SLAs
• Patching systems, applying updates and improving security posture
• Deploying and configuring infrastructure using automation and IaC tooling
• Supporting platform changes, upgrades and new environment rollouts
• Producing clear documentation and working closely with internal teams and vendors
• Taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota once up to speed

• Strong experience supporting Windows and Linux environments
• Background in cloud or virtualised infrastructure environments
• Exposure to AWS and or Azure
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix or similar platforms
• Comfortable working in structured support environments with SLAs
• A methodical troubleshooter with good attention to detail

Experience with automation tools, container platforms or scripting is a bonus but not essential.

• A genuine mix of private cloud and public cloud technologies
• Genuine well-trodden progression paths through to Dev Ops and Sec Ops.
