Data Engineering
What if I told you there was an opportunity to help build the data foundations for one of the UK's fastest growing healthcare groups?
We're partnered with an organisation that is on an ambitious journey.
With big plans to continue growing across the UK and Europe and a technology function that’s rapidly evolving, they’re investing heavily in building internal capability across data, engineering and digital, which is super exciting!
As part of that investment, they’re looking for a Data Engineer to help shape the future of their data platform.
This isn't a role where you'll be inheriting a polished environment and maintaining what's already there; you'll be joining at a pivotal stage.
This comes with the opportunity to help modernise the platform, improve data quality, influence architecture decisions and create the foundations that will power reporting, analytics and future AI capabilities across the business.
If you're the kind of engineer who enjoys turning complexity into clarity, you'll feel right at home here.
Have genuine influence over the architecture, tooling and engineering standards that shape the future platform.
Play a key role in the adoption of Microsoft Fabric and the next generation of data technologies.
Solve complex, real world data challenges across a growing business with hundreds of locations nationwide.
Be part of a technology function that's receiving significant investment and backing for long term growth.
Help build the foundations that will support future AI, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives.
Turn fragmented, messy data into trusted insights that make a tangible impact across the organisation.
Join early enough to leave your fingerprints on the platform, processes and future direction of the team.
We'd love to speak with anyone who has experience in:
- SQL Server and advanced SQL development
- Data warehouse development and maintenance
- ETL / ELT and data pipeline engineering
- Data modelling and analytical data structures
- Azure-based data services and cloud platforms
- Source control and engineering best practices
Bonus points for experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Salary up to £75k (dependent on experience).
There will be legacy systems, complex integrations and challenges to solve but for the right engineer this is exactly what makes this opportunity so interesting.
If you're excited by the idea of building reliable data foundations, solving complex challenges and helping shape the future of a growing technology function, then we'd love to hear from you.
