Role OverviewAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer or Conveyancing Executive to join a well-established legal practice based in Thornton Cleveleys. The successful candidate will manage a busy and varied caseload of residential sale and purchase transactions from file opening through to completion. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with solid experience in both freehold and leasehold matters, capable of working independently while maintaining the highest standards of client service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
- Provide clear legal advice to clients and maintain excellent communication throughout the transaction.
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documentation in accordance with firm procedures.
- Ensure accurate billing and timely collection of client funds.
- Supervise and support junior team members where appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards.
- Promote and develop strong relationships with clients, agents, and local contacts.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters at a similar level.
- Sound technical knowledge of conveyancing law and practice, including freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and confidently.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using Windows, Word, and Excel, as well as case management systems.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
- Flexible, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Up-to-date understanding of the Solicitors Code of Conduct and compliance requirements.
- Awareness of current residential property trends and local market conditions.
