Position Overview
Supply Chain Professional – Samlesbury – 12 months – £22.15 per hour – Inside IR35. An opportunity with an aerospace sector client on the Typhoon Repairs order book team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage delivery of aircraft from suppliers for the contract.
- Coordinate and deliver customer requirements within stringent timescales.
- Support our customer operational requirements, interacting with key stakeholders across all business functions.
- Liaise with Commercial, Engineering and Procurement to deliver a successful supply chain and continuously enhance customer satisfaction.
- Receive, validate and accept incoming customer orders ensuring due diligence.
- Support the end‑to‑end management of order books, including stakeholder management across multiple functions.
- Maintain order books from receipt of order to delivery, using the systems and reporting tools available.
- Keep ERP systems topical with latest information.
- Deliver performance indicators by meeting delivery targets and reporting on operational/process performance.
- Participate in internal and external order book reviews to establish forecasts, shipments and maintain relationships with procurement teams and external customers.
- Prepare for and support customer‑facing order book reviews.
- Liaise with internal and external customers including national and international partners.
- Experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Knowledge of the supply chain role.
- Experience with Infor LN ERP system (beneficial).
- Ability to build and foster robust and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and key suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player, willingness to learn, keen attention to detail.
- Good understanding of KPIs.
- Outstanding organisational ability and ability to prioritise workload.
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge with strong Excel skills.
