The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are recruiting a Cleaning Operative to carry out cleaning duties at Lancashire Police HQ. A flexible approach to work is required, as the successful candidate would need to cover sickness, holidays or provide support to meet additional service demands. The team is contracted to carry out cleaning at all Lancashire Police buildings, which provide essential services to the community and vulnerable people.

High standards of cleanliness are expected; prior experience is desirable, but full training and ongoing support will be provided.

• General cleaning – damp wiping and damp mopping, vacuuming, toilet cleaning, washroom cleaning.

First shift start times are Monday-Wednesday 06:00-08:30 and Thursday-Friday 06:00-08:00, with a total of 11.5 hours per week. The role is part time; the salary quoted is full-time equivalent and the hourly rate is £13.45.
