Job Overview

Bridge Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Cleaner to join a well‑maintained school site in Blackburn, supporting the day‑to‑day running of the premises.

This part‑time, long‑term position is responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well‑presented for pupils, staff and visitors. The school takes pride in maintaining high site standards, with a strong focus on health and safety, security and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for a cleaner looking for a stable role in a school setting.

• Previous experience in cleaning
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Reliable and proactive approach
• Good communication skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

• Conduct regular health and safety checks
• Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
• Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
• Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school site
