Responsibilities
Lead a small team to maximize external funding opportunities for the community of Trafford.
Coordinate funding bids to support regeneration and growth in partnership with other teams.
Manage the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Communities and Place programme and future programmes.
Ensure effective internal systems are in place.
Work with stakeholders such as Development and Estates, Strategic Planning, and Highways to secure external funding for projects.
Support delivery of significant regeneration projects, including New Carrington, Davenport Green, Wharfside, and Old Trafford Regeneration, by identifying funding.
Use written and communication skills when interacting with businesses, the public, partner agencies, Council officers, and elected members.
Report to the Inclusive Economy and Communities Manager.
Work flexible hours, including occasional unsocial hours.
QualificationsDegree or equivalent qualification.
3-4 years experience in a related field.
Proven experience in sourcing, bidding, securing and monitoring external funding.
